Marketing Mud Gives Back to the Arts... and has a little fun too!

tropicanaMarketing Mud is a local company that truly enjoys giving back to the community.  We often sponsor and attend events that focus on giving to other organizations or community members.  Not only does this include the Gainesville community but also the University of Florida community members.  For instance, this past Saturday night, January 30, 2010, we attended the University of Florida’s Center for the Performing Arts Evening at the Tropicana Nightclub event.  This event was a fundraiser for the Performing Arts Center and Marketing Mud was a “Ginger Level Sponsor” as we donated a free Brand Identity Package for the silent Auction.  This Branding Package included logo design, brochure and marketing collateral design, web design, competitive analysis and an advertising consultation.  The event also included dinner and dancing to the music of The Havana Players featuring local favorites Gosia & Ali.

We were proud to be a part of this project as the UF Performing Arts would not be possible without events such as this one.  For instance, according to their website, ticket sales only cover 40 percent of UFPA’s operating costs in presenting the artists you see on their stages.  Outside donations and personal investments make the difference in sustaining quality programming for the arts community.  For more information about this event and their programs or to learn about how you can help please visit:  An Evening at the Tropicana Nightclub.
